In the outdoors you get to know the character of a person, really well and really fast. Faced by unusual conditions we are stripped of all pretentiousness. We find out our strength and endurance, how we hold up carrying our own load and walking several miles on uneven ground. We find out how adaptable and flexible we are. We know what ‘team’ and ‘team building’ really means, watching out for each other, respecting personalities, counting on the different strengths, making group decisions with ease.
