I AM
OLD
I often hear this; I am too old to do this and that. I am too old for such and such. Often from deeply religious people. They spend their time in prayer, and that is awesome. But you can be doing things while praying. Or you can be praying while doing. Like hiking for me is a form of prayer being thankful for the things I see and experience. Experiencing the wonder of God’s creation.
In the bible you will find of God calling “Old” people.
Timeline from Abraham to Exodus:

Psalm 92:12-14 But the godly will flourish like palm trees and grow strong like the cedars of Lebanon. For they are transplanted to the LORD’s own house. They flourish in the courts of our God. Even in old age they will still produce fruit; they will remain vital and green. They will declare, “The LORD is just! He is my rock! There is no evil in him!”.
Abraham was 75 when God called him. Genesis 12: 1-3 The Lord had said to Abram, “Go from your country, your people and your father’s household to the land I will show you. 2 “I will make you into a great nation, and I will bless you; I will make your name great, and you will be a blessing.[a] 3I will bless those who bless you, and whoever curses you I will curse; and all peoples on earth will be blessed through you.”[b]
Isaac was 60 when Jacob was born. Genesis 25:26 After this, his brother came out, with his hand grasping Esau’s heel; so, he was named Jacob. [e] Isaac was sixty years old when Rebekah gave birth to them.
Jacob was 130 when he comes (migrated) to Egypt. Genesis 47:9 And Jacob said to Pharaoh, “The years of my pilgrimage are a hundred and thirty. My years have been few and difficult, and they do not equal the years of the pilgrimage of my fathers.”. This computes that Jacob was 91 years old when Joseph was born (Computation here. And Joseph’s timeline).
Moses was 80 when God called him. Exodus 3: 1-4 One day while Moses was taking care of the sheep
and goats of his father-in-law Jethro, the priest of Midian, he led the flock across the desert and came to Sinai, the holy mountain. 2 There the angel of the Lord appeared to him as a flame coming from the middle of a bush. Moses saw that the bush was on fire but that it was not burning up. 3 “This is strange,” he thought. “Why isn't the bush burning up? I will go closer and see.” 4 When the Lord saw that Moses was coming closer, he called to him from the middle of the bush and said, “Moses! Moses!” He answered, “Yes, here I am.”God continues to use you.
Psalm 71:18-19 Now that I am old and my hair is gray, do not leave me, God. I must tell the next generation about your power and greatness. God, your goodness reaches far above the skies. You have done wonderful things. God, there is no one like you.
Exodus 7:6-9 So Moses and Aaron did just as the LORD had commanded them. Moses was eighty years old, and Aaron was eighty-three when they made their demands to Pharaoh. Then the LORD said to Moses and Aaron, “Pharaoh will demand, ‘Show me a miracle.’ When he does this, say to Aaron, ‘Take your staff and throw it down in front of Pharaoh, and it will become a serpent.'”
Many decades ago, I had asked “How do I know what my talents are?”. The reply to me was a simple, “Use them”. You have your natural inclinations and there are also numerous tests that you can find here, Forbes’ Best Tests To Help You Understand Your Strengths And Weaknesses or the Gallup Clifton Strengths Finder.
Here are examples of individuals who made it big after 50 named by AARP: https://www.aarp.org/personal-growth/transitions/info-2005/hitting_it_big_after_50.html

You might say you are just a regular person and will not be an entrepreneur or an athlete. Try something else that you have been wanting to do. Write a poem, an article, or a book. Take up photography, painting or sewing. Find your natural inclinations, find something that would make your heart sing! You are awesome!
P.S. I am 58 years young.
